Vintage Car Club of Thailand in collaboration with Future Park Shopping Complex and ZPELL hosts an exhibition of vintage cars and classic cars from June 26 – July 6, 2020 to exhibit outstanding cars from past Vintage Car Concours, which has been is closely associated with the Shopping Complex for a decade.         

   Kwanchai Paphatphong, President of Vintage Car Club of Thailand, reveals that the Club has been hosting as many as 43 Vintage Car Concours consecutively but must comply with the government's measures to contain COVID-19 this year and thus has to cancel “The 44^th Vintage Car Concours”.           

   However, the Club in collaboration with Future Park Shopping Complex will host an exhibition of vintage cars and classic cars under the concept of “REMEMBER ME – Retracing A Decade of Vintage Cars” to refresh the memories of enthusiasts along with the general public that the Vintage Car Concours is a major annual event of Future Park Shopping Complex which has been co-hosting the event for 10 consecutive years.            

   “REMEMBER ME” Exhibition is held at Future Park Shopping Complex and ZPELL to display 20 cars comprising those featuring in previous PR posters and first-prize winners in past Concours, for example the 1904 BLACK, 1910 OVERLAND MODEL 40 ROADSTER, 1937 LANCIA APRILIA, 1937 MG VA, 1947 TRIUMPH ROADSTER 1800.  

            Admission to the exhibition is free and the Shopping Mall adopts measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, such as segregating entrance / exit doors to control the number of visitors, installing a thermoscan to monitor the body temperature of every visitor, requiring the screening staff and those who need to get close to customers to wear face masks, face shields and gloves at all times, placing sanitizing hand gel at various locations, etc. to increase public confidence.

                สมาคมรถโบราณแห่งประเทศไทย ร่วมกับ ศูนย์การค้าฟิวเจอร์พาร์ค และสเปลล์ จัดนิทรรศการรถโบราณ และรถคลาสสิค อวดโฉมรถเด่นในความทรงจำจากงานประกวดรถโบราณที่อยู่คู่กับศูนย์การค้าฯ มานานถึง 1 ทศวรรษ ระหว่าง 26 มิถุนายน - 6 กรกฎาคม นี้

               ขวัญชัย ปภัสร์พงษ์ นายกสมาคมรถโบราณแห่งประเทศไทย เปิดเผยว่า สมาคมฯ จัด “งานประกวดรถโบราณ” ต่อเนื่องมาถึง 43 ครั้ง แต่ปีนี้สมาคมฯ ต้องปฏิบัติตามมาตรการป้องกันการแพร่ระบาดโรค COVID-19 ของภาครัฐ จึงจำเป็นต้องยกเลิกจัด “งานประกวดรถโบราณ ครั้งที่ 44”

          อย่างไรก็ตาม สมาคมฯ ได้ร่วมกับศูนย์การค้าฟิวเจอร์พาร์ค และสเปลล์ จัดนิทรรศการแสดงรถโบราณ และรถคลาสสิคขึ้น ภายใต้แนวคิด “REMEMBER ME - ย้อนรอย 1 ทศวรรษวินเทจคาร์” เพื่อย้ำเตือนความทรงจำของผู้สนใจ และประชาชนทั่วไปว่า งานประกวดรถโบราณเป็นงานใหญ่ประจำปีของศูนย์การค้าฯ ที่จัดต่อเนื่องมานานนับ 10 ปี

         นิทรรศการ “REMEMBER ME” จัดขึ้น ณ ศูนย์การค้าฟิวเจอร์พาร์ค และสเปลล์ โดยจะแสดงรถโบราณที่เคยเป็นแบบในโพสเตอร์ประชาสัมพันธ์งานประกวดฯ และรถที่เคยได้รับรางวัลชนะเลิศในงานประกวดฯ รวมจำนวน 20 คัน เช่น BLACK ปี 1904, OVERLAND MODEL 40 ROADSTER ปี 1910, LANCIA APRILIA ปี 1937, MG VA 1937, TRIUMPH ROADSTER 1800 ปี 1947 เป็นต้น

         นิทรรศการดังกล่าวเปิดให้ชมฟรี โดยศูนย์การค้าฯ   มีมาตรการป้องกันการแพร่ระบาดโรค COVID-19 อาทิ กำหนดประตูทางเข้า - ออก เพื่อควบคุมจำนวนผู้ใช้บริการ ติดตั้งเทอร์โมสแกนตรวจวัดอุณหภูมิผู้เข้าศูนย์ทุกประตู เจ้าหน้าที่ตรวจคัดกรอง และพนักงานที่ใกล้ชิดลูกค้าต้องสวมหน้ากากอนามัย เฟศชีลด์ และถุงมือตลอดเวลา มีจุดบริการเจลล้างมือ ฯลฯ เพื่อสร้างความมั่นใจให้ผู้ชมงาน
